One Way Trip To MARS
Recently, a treaty has been signed that 100 people are going to mars and settle there for ever.
As we all know that , Mars resembles Earth to some extent but is too far as compared to our moon.
Moon is quiet near to us ,but Mars is quiet far away from us because it is a planet like our Earth.
Scientists have been trying a long time to get to Mars after research hass proved the existence of life on Mars.The climate on Mars also resembles of the climate on earth.
So after visiting the moon, man will visit it's neighbour planet. Mars is also named as the Red Planet beacuse its color on surface is reddish.
Contestants For Mars Trip
The contestants, who range in the age from 19 to 60 years , were selected from a pool of 660 semi-finalists from around the world. For the next knockdown round, the candidates will demonstrate their potential abilities to work in the teams together, with an eye toward landing one of 24 training spots. Mars One’s goal is to launch the first four-member crew to Mars in 2024.
Norbert Kraft (mars medical officer ) says :
“Being one of the best individual candidates does not automatically make you the greatest team player, so I look forward to seeing how the candidates progress and work together in the upcoming challenges”
Mars One estimates it will cost about $6 billion for the first flight and about $4 billion for each of those slated to follow every two years. The goal is to establish an initial self-sustaining colony of 24 transplanted Earthlings.
Cost To Whole journey
Estimated costs that this journey will take is about '6 Billion Dollars'. Nasa is trying its level best to make this project successful and make a eligible team of earth to go on Mars.
One Way Journey
This journey to Mars will be one way i.e people will not come back to earth forever. They have to goodbye this earth to go over there. As we know that distance between mars and earth is much great. And it will take much fuel to go there. Once we have reached on mars we will have not much enough fuel to come back to Earth.
But scientists are making their efforts that this trip could be make two way.Perhaps if it would happen then every human will have some desire in his mind may he be the one who is part of this trip.
Crew
According to the officials, the crew of this trip will be 100 of men and women and the spacemen.
